Ms. Lisovskaya performed the role of Micaëla from the famous opera CARMEN, produced by Commonwealth Lyric Theater. "Soprano Olga Lisovskaya brought beautifully limpid sounds to Micaela’s music, her voice soaring to the climaxes of her third-act aria. It was an interpretation sympathetic and heartwarming, her interaction with Don José caressing." (Boston Musical Intelligencer)
"Soprano Olga Lisovskaya then sang the lilting waltz song, "Je Veux Vivre" from Gounod's Roméo et Juliette with great charm and easy facility. The chromatic passages were skillfully timed, the lyric phrases melting one into the other, all culminating on a sparkling high C at the aria's zenith. " (Maestro Pennington, Boston Bel Canto Opera).
